Looking through my "treasure box" brings back lots of memories.

Letters, cards, notes from friends. Receipts, flyers, random pieces of doodles, letters I never delivered, or just any simple item that reminds me of a certain event or just a random day out with anyone. I'm a person who keeps all these kind of little things because I don't want to forget anything. I take many pictures, hoping the images would stay with me forever.



Holidays are fun, and studying is stressful.

But, the best moments were the times I've spent with my friends in school, outside school, when there was still a place we can call our school. Anglican High is our Alma mater now, and I really miss seeing everybody everyday.

I miss studying in school, I miss studying outside. I miss lessons, I miss the people I used to sit near to, I miss the canteen food, I miss class events, I miss school events, I miss the teachers, I miss taking pictures of everything.



Don't want to think about where I'm going two months later.



There's choir tomorrow, I'll never ever break this promise again. Terie's coming at night.

Went out with ashley to far east shopping centre (not plaza) to get her NDS fixed. We got drenched in the rain and I had to get myself a pair of flats from cotton on (I won't tell you the colour), and two tops at far east plaza. We got squashed like sardines on the train. And ashley, I'll have normal children, TYVM :D

Right, I also went to church for the first time in a year or two. The place was crowded like hell. Around 1000 people no joking. Well, masses have always been boring so I have nothing much to say.

Today's a VERY VERY tiring day with Terie and Yihao that started in the afternoon, my feet hurts so much that I can't walk properly now. Stupid flat feet and slippers.

Nonetheless, I had a great time perspiring, walking around in circles in a "forest" (jungle trail) with insects biting me all over, taking hundreds of photos till my camera battery's gone flat, getting lost, and taking even more pictures. Hey they're negative stuff but that's why its fun okay! :D

Thanks guys!! for agreeing to go with me to Sentosa again (even though I just came back yesterday), I REALLY LOVE THAT PLACE ALOT and will always accept any invitation to go there!

Hmm what a hectic day! I woke up at 830 to finish making some gifts and walked to TM to get my make up and a bracelet. Never expected make up to be so expensive -__-, the total amount I spent on make up plus a bracelet was 91 bucks?!

Alicia Ashley and I met at bedok mrt station and got a cab to roxy square to meet siyun and kaiying to get our hair done. I didn't get used to my hair until a long time later O: Sorry to those 4 who have to listen to my continuous self criticism HMM.

Terie came over just now to borrow nail buffing equipment. So bimbo-like, not. We're two totally unprofessional buffers, so I only have four shiny nails now lol. Watching TV while buffing ain't a good thing. Camp rock is rather boring btw, and I was supposed to do other stuff, but ended up watching xiao niang re instead.


Pat and I went over to our piano teacher's house today for a visit, its been a year or more since we've seen her? Things haven't changed much over there (except for the freshly painted flats), and well, both of us look almost the same too. Expected a 1 hour visit but the three of us ended up chatting for three hours O:

Before we went to her house, we met up at whitesands to find her a gift, and it ended up as a very cute retarded soft toy and a notebook. Hey, it even has a cover okay! (okay, its actuallly just the word "thankyou") But I think there's probably a problem with my sense of humour or something, because when he suggested that I write "For exchange of defective goods, please return items with receipt within 7 days of purchase" on the cover, I did. Then came "Wah you really write?! I was joking!" -__-

Hope my teacher takes it as some creative gift LOL. I also think my chinese shui zhun is seriously going downhill, can't even write a touching note in chinese for nuts wth. Anyway, I got some info about continuing under another teacher and the rest were just random talk. Comes with a free tea break haha :D



Is it only me, or is there anybody else dreading prom? (actually I've found more than 4 or 5 friends who agrees with me) I've given up on looking for a suitable bag so I'm using my mom's, which looks abit too matured for my taste ): Its tough looking for accessories too, and I only have like, half a day left. Plus I have some other stuff..

A few of us will be meeting at sy's house before going to a salon to style our hair, so good luck to my make up. I only have experience putting on make up for choir performances, where I normally appear as a baboon, so....OMGOSH FREAK OUT.



How do those socialites survive everyday?! 100 balls to attend a year, won't get bored one meh?! All these prom shopping tires me, and I've yet to find suitable accessories OR a clutch that can fit my camera etc.

Yesterday, I dreamt of myself racing with a fish. I have no idea how a fish (cross between koi and goldfish) is supposed to SWIM on the highway, and how I'm supposed to dash down the road without getting knocked down, so I guess dreams will always remain as dreams.

Funny thing was, the fish and I were travelling at the same speed, but towards the end (near the tampines round market), I was faster by abit and at the moment I turned around, the fish immediately became a COOKED FISH with white eyeballs and a white skinless body. It used to be orange, btw.

Also, I dreamt of myself in a particular shopping centre I've not been to. This place appeared in my dreams several times already. Does this tell me anything about the psychological state of my mind or something?!


I was the only sec four at choir today, the rest were practising. Throughout the whole practice (actually, I left after sectionals), I only got to sing lux arumque and abit of dumbele ): Nevermind, hope the next practice'll be better ^_^


Spent some money today, because I had to buy a present for someone, recorder cream, renew my popular card, buy leona lewis' cd (I've been looking for it!)! The rest of the day was rather fun for me as I've started some.....Lets keep it a secret for now :)


Tomorrow's gonna be a busy day, I still need to settle some prom stuff (the only thing I've got so far is my dress and a pair of shoes), make more stuff, and visit my piano teacher with pat in the afternoon.

Before the fickle minded me decides to change my mind again, I AM going for choral fest performance. If I don't say this I'll probably end up not going due to laziness, which shouldn't be the case cause I don't work. I haven't been singing for ages, and I haven't been one of the better singers all along, so I hope everything comes back to me!

Most of the secfours aren't going though, that's the cause of my fickle-mindedness. Ah whatever, if I don't go I really won't have any sense of accomplishment this holiday! What's more, they're singing a few of my favourite songs (no credo though ): )



Yesterday night wasn't too good, but I shouldn't elaborate on that. Ended up with REALLY puffy eyes in the morning, even after I bathed and tried putting ice over them :|

Spent the day at Jiaye's house lazing around and doing retarded stuff LOL. pictionary and mastermind = VERY FUN GAMES. We played many rounds of pictionary and some words were really difficult to draw out la -__-

We had fried rice for lunch and I talked to her mom too HMM. After lunch, we did stupid stuff on the computer like playing inklink, cartoonnetwork, neopets and popcap. The funny part was when we created out neopets account. It got suspended cause we put ___loves____ as our username and gave our neopet a (Y) name! Its name shall not be revealed to protect somebody's privacy :P

I went back at 5:30 but it was raining like hell and I was all alone at the bus stop shivering in the cold ): Bus 10 takes freaking long to arrive, zzz.




What a boring post! I want to live in a bungalow with duckie tiles and many storeys. I, unfortunately, live in a flat which is undergoing lift-upgrading.

Which means many many many months of noise, dust, pollution and everything not nice. With the demolished schools right outisde, I'm pretty sure I won't have a very nice time at home ):

Its 4:30 pm on a saturday afternoon, and I feel pretty relaxed at home :]

Shopping can be quite tiring, so I'm gonna take a break for a day, at least. Won't be long before I start craving for another trip. o_O For now, I'll spend my time playing the piano, painting and watching dramas (ONLY 1 EPISODE TODAY)


My morning was spent at choir, where we did Lux, dumbelle, illay and the new songs the juniors were supposed to learn. I arrived late because I overslept, so I only sang a little bit of lux arumque ): Felt abit weird when the choir was singing the new songs though, I didn't know whether to sit or stand -__-

Its nice to be back nonetheless, kinda miss the choir songs, especially lux O: Mr Toh was also discussing some info about a concert next year! :D

Went home with peixuan eliz qy tw and the usual people. Riane goh if you're reading this, please come on saturdays okay!! Tingwei's sandal's broke off and she had to survive with tying her feet and the sole of the sandals together with a plastic bag provided by px LOL.


Anyway, there's a really nice score they have, (but peixuan told me they scraped the song cause it was too difficult to sing), called Yuki Nohi. I got a recording of the song a few days ago, and fell in love with it instantly. Upon reaching home, I tried to play it on the piano, but it was far too confusing in its individual parts, so I combined S with A, T with B. Which is actually just combining and copying, and transposing some tenor parts. Sounds easy but its actually very, very tiring for the eyes. zzz.

I'm tired, so I'll take a break from this and show you photos from my day out with Anqi and Jiaye the day before (20th). Before we set off for orchard, we had our lunch at TM pizza hut with Jun yao too.

Since I couldn't finish the pizza, we decided (or rather, I) to play ZONG JI MI MA! Reminds me of the time I played this with several other friends two years back LOL. and of course, beijing.


Loo lost the 2nd round (jiaye lost the first and only had to eat 1/3 of the pizza), and we added water, soup, chilli, cheese, pepper and pepsi into hers (Y)

I lost the 3rd, and they did the same to me, THANKS TO ANQI WHO GAVE SOME GUAILAN NUMBER LOL. 50 omg O: just that it was drenched in MORE soup and god knows how many millilitres of ICED water -.- Imagine COLD and SOGGY pizza. The pictures are with jiaye.


Then, we felt it wasn't fair for junyao cause she didn't get to try any of the "delicacies", so we gave her a spoonful of our heavenly concoction:


mushroom soup, iced water, a thick layer of pepper over it, dusted with chilli flakes, a piece of capsicum, half an olive, and some cheese powder.


She refused to eat it just like that, and added LOTS more cheese in it. Think it was pretty terrible for her cause she kinda choked and had to flush down alot of water down her throat :p

Junyao went home after lunch, while jiaye looloo and I went around orchard looking at lingerie and other stuff. Oh, underwear. LOL. We saw loads of weird stuff and a lacy bra jiaye badly wanted HMM. I'll save the details, since you won't want to know too much of our conversation ^_^ Jiaye's a horny girl you know!! (LOL)

Next stop was wisma and got ourselves a cup of dark cherry mocha :D

The clothes we tried on we SUPER auntie-like and gross. HAH. Oh, we also went to art friend and a shop with loads of cute children toys <3

Whoopee I don't have to worry about my prom dress anymore!! Finally bought one today, but I didn't get the colour I wanted initially. Stayed in the changing room for 20 minutes trying to decide which one to buy cause both of them were super pretty :D

I'm not gonna tell you guys what I got (though a few people already know and Terie's seen it LOL), its just very pretty ^_^ hope its not too informal...it ain't too expensive either O: (I have one at home I got LAST year but its ugly so I won't wear it. So I have a certain budget or my mom'll get >:[ )

Spent the morning with siyun looking for a dress, but the one she wanted didn't have size S ): It was a rather fruitful trip, anyway. After that, I went to the podiatrist at Tan tock seng and they got my insole fixed and gave me a referral letter for physiotherapy. Its basically like a gym with a doctor, I guess.


Novena square didn't have anything much, so we went back and bought the one I wanted. (Y)

I also don't have to worry about shoes, I've got a clutch I should be able to use (can't fit my camera though), accessories should be settled within half a day, and my hair....lets see what'll happen ):



Seems like the whole world's getting a job except me zzz. Don't think they'll hire me cause I'm going back to hk from 12th dec to 4th jan sigh.

My dream holiday job is to be a children's book illustrator, but they'll hire art students, so my mom says the only way is for me to write a children's book LOL (storyline's v. difficult imo, you always have to include a moral after the story and they can't have murderers either D:). So forget it!! WHO WANTS TO HIRE A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO WANTS TO WORK MORNING SHIFTS PLEASE CALL ME.

While I'm editing the farewell post, let me keep you entertained.


During art class on sunday, our teacher brought us down for to see the NAFA students gallery. Pufang's painting and the scotch tape sculpture which xiner and pufang did was there too hmm. Anyway, Some paintings were really really nice. Mine are still incomplete, and my biggest aim is to finish ALL OF THEM during the holidays. The acrylic canvas one comes first.

If you've been to the national museum (we went on an excursion to that place during april), you would have seen this sculpture. GIGANTIC sculpture. Here's the real thing:

That was the last art class, and we did printing that day. Carving plastic's fun, but I don't think I really like printing that much, maybe I'll take a photo of it one day. Its very screwed, anyway.



Btw, does anybody remember this song? Its 你要的爱 by 戴陪妮, and I've put in on repeat for quite some time already. If you watch 流星花园Ⅰ last time, this song should sound pretty familiar.

Might take awhile to load, but wait patiently okay, the song is worth the wait :D

Lets have everything in chronological order, then.


7:45am - I woke up, feeling extremely tired from sleeping at 3 am the previous night.

7:50am (approx) - Riane rings on the doorbell, bringing some materials over for making the farewell gifts. We left the house at around 8:00, I think. We bought our egg mcmuffins and sausage mcmuffin meals before we reached the mrt. ;D We'll never go to school without our mcmuffins eh!

The purpose of going to school was to learn the song we're supposed to perform for the juniors during the farewell dinner. It was "drunken sailor", which sounded pretty interesting. It was an easy piece anyway, but we still decided to stick to that one song instead of learning "carry me home" or the beauty and the beast songs. Better to have a performance with ONE good song than TWO not-so-good songs, I guess. We were dismissed at around 12.

Limying also had scores for "vois sur ton Chemin" from Les choristes, so I happily took a copy of it home. Its only for SA (soprano and alto) with piano accompaniment though D:

And I miss singing at the music room very very much. Its been like, one two months? ):


After the practice, Riane and I bought instant pasta from NTUC and walked over to my house to take our lunch and to start making the farewell gifts. Mine were pretty much complete except for the "photo packaging", while Riane had to start from scratch O:

At 2:15, I collected the photos from the printing shop, and the rest of the time was spent on cutting and folding pieces of tracing paper (its not EXACTLY tracing paper. those type of translucent ones, you know?). Which I only completed at 5pm. Just on time, cause I was supposed to bathe then.

After that it was very kanchiong for both of us. Riane still had many bookmarks to go, while I haven't even found a bag to bring there. I also had to blow dry my hair, wear my dress, pack everything, yadayadadaa.


Hastily took a photo of all the cards I made, and they look pretty ugly on the camera ): They're better in real life I think, but whatever haha, its the note inside that's important k!

The most hilarious part was from 530 to 615, THE MAD RUSHHHH!!!

Firstly, I had trouble putting my contacts on (I thought I put the left one on my right eye -.-)

Secondly, I didn't have much time to blow dry my hair

Thirdly, I haven't even found a clutch/bag

Fourthly, I'm not exactly done with my present

Fifthly, Riane's not done with hers either

Sixthly, Rianegoh...Can't wear the dress I lent her at first!!! So she had to rummage through my cupboard to find THAT yellow dress (the super oversized for me) IT WAS DAMN FUNNY I SWEAR. We took alot of time tying the ribbon, stuffing everything into a paper bag, and finding riane a pair of shoes.

Her feet was way bigger than mine, so she had to stuff them into a pair of white flats. However, her feet started hurting after like, a few steps out of my house so she had to wear her non-formal sandals. So we hurriedly left the house (dropping bookmarks and other things at the door) at.....615


Which was 15 minutes from the meeting time. Luckily, we got a taxi in no time and Riane called cheryl to bring her a pair (Y). On the taxi, I kept laughing at the situation and Riane was complaning abit about the PUFFY sleeves LOL. I don't know what I was laughing at either, just..EVERYTHING.

We were relieved to hear that some girls were still at Limying's place so we went to the toilet to pee and comb our hair and tidy ourselves up. We even thought there was extra time and took this photo:

shortly after that, leongying called to say they've reached and they're all waiting for us. omg damn paiseh, we practically ran to the bus and the driver kept scolding us ): SORRY! WE REALLY THOUGHT WE HAD TIME. so it was the front seats for us D:


Then, we arrived at the place ^_^ Its at harbour front, near Vivocity! Alvina and Yingjun were already there to welcome us. Shijia was at the door, taking pictures as if we're some stars walking down the red carpet LOL.

They distributed the doorgifts (TOILET BRUSHES) which look like this:


very pretty eh, there's still GLITTER on the brush itself ;D The theme for this year was HOME, TRULY, so they gave toilet brushes to make us feel at home? 99 points for originality!! (its 99 cause well, it reminds us of olomouc doesn't it?)

As we walked into the place (Jolin's voice could be heard clearly lol), the choir started singing the traditional CHILLI CHILLI WASI WASI CHIYA CHIYA KAYA song :D

I remember singing it for the seniors each year, just that, the juniors are singing it for US now. The place was better than last years', and I was rather amazed, actually.

Farewell was great.

Before I start posting on anything else, I'd really love to thank my lovely, lovely juniors!! Sorry my cards didn't have too many words on them, I thought farewell was on tuesday and only made them yesterday ): Thankyou, THANKYOU for everything.

Especially to peixuan, no word can describe how grateful I am to receive all these touching gifts and letters which you've obviously put alot of effort into. And the powerpoint. And the endless supply of cookies, cupcakes and sweets. And hugs. And pictures. And your DIY things. And the slideshow. Of course these aren't the only things, I'll definitely miss you ALOT ALOT, so don't be too shocked if I end up stalking you soon k :D Yeah I've always wondered how we ever got so close, and you just reminded me! :D (i've told you my secret about pierre cardin today right?!) To the biggest FARTY DUMMY XUANEEE on earth, I love you! (the rest will come soon!!!) :D

And my dearest Riane goh, TODAY WAS HILARIOUS AIN'T IT! :D I'm looking forward to our SPRINGCLEANING SESSION IN MY HOUSE OKAY! (I'll save the rest for our next meeting cause You'd probably be listening to A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES and watching stuff when you're on the computer eh ;D) SEEYOU SOON! ^_^


The most touching part was the dedication, which I didn't get to finish reading!!! Anybody knows how I can read them?!?! :D Really don't know how I'd survive without you guys, especially this year. For all the great, spastic, retarded, malu, stupid times...thankyou. I'll never ever forget you all (not with all the photos in my com), and I'LL COME BACK REALLY REALLY SOON.
